IKBIS Annisa

History of IKBIS Annisa

The Annisa Jaya Foundation was officially established by a married couple, Hj. Titoh Masyitoh and H. Achmad Sukarna, SH, in 1995 in the Citeureup District. However, the idea to establish this foundation had actually been conceived 5-6 years earlier, but at that time it was still hampered by the lack of a suitable location. One of the areas of focus of the Annisa Jaya Foundation is social welfare, health, community service, and education. All of these areas of focus stem from the professions of the couple. Hj. Titoh Masitoh is a midwife, and H. Achmad Sukarna, SH is a teacher/educator and school supervisor.

The Annisa Jaya Foundation, originally named the Annisa Foundation, underwent two changes, first becoming the Annisa Education Foundation and finally the Annisa Jaya Foundation. These name changes were based on Law No. 16 of 2001, which was amended to Law No. 28 of 2004 concerning Foundations.

Kiprah Yayasan Annisa Jaya, dimulai saat mendirikan Klinik 24 jam, dan  Rumah Bersalin pada sebidang tanah seluas 300 m2 in the Citeureup District. Within 5 years, the business areas run by the Annisa Jaya Foundation have grown rapidly and received positive responses from the community. The number of patients has increased, and the number of employees and medical personnel has continued to grow in line with demand. At that time, the Annisa Clinic and Maternity Home already had permanent doctors. Gradually, the Annisa Clinic and Maternity Home began preparations to upgrade their status to a commercial hospital. Various requirements were fulfilled, including facilities and infrastructure, doctors and nurses, as well as the minimum land area required (at least 3,000 m²). Translated with DeepL.com (free version)2Given that the hospital's orientation is not purely social, but rather a social business, and its institutional umbrella must be in the form of a company (PT), the Annisa Jaya Foundation further established PT. Annisa Jaya Perdana as the parent institution that oversees the hospital.

After more than 12 years of development, in 2008 the Annisa Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA) was established and inaugurated by the Deputy Regent of Bogor, Karyawan Faturrahman, at Jl. Kranggan No. 2, Puspasari Village, Citeureup District. In its further development, the Annisa Jaya Foundation began to expand and engage in education in the field of health. This idea initially emerged to support work in the fields of health and pharmacy at RSIA and clinics, whose employees were students or graduates of secondary schools in the health sector. Due to its work in the field of education, the Annisa Jaya Foundation in Citeureup became popularly known as the Annisa Education Foundation (YPA). As a first step in education, YPA established SMK Farmasi Annisa in 2010 after obtaining an operational permit from the Head of the Bogor Regency Education Office Number 421/200-Disdik, on June 16, 2010, and began accepting new students for the 2010/2011 academic year. The community's enthusiasm for education at Annisa Pharmacy Vocational School was overwhelming. From the initial expectation of having one class/study group with a maximum of 40 students, more than 500 people were officially registered as applicants/prospective new students. However, due to various rational considerations, as well as the limitations that had not been prepared for such a large number of students, such as the availability of classrooms, other facilities, and teachers, only 260 applicants were officially accepted as the first batch of students.

In the 2011/2012 academic year, community participation in the Annisa Pharmacy Vocational School was not much different from that in 2010/2011, and 240 students were officially accepted. However, due to a policy issued by the Ministry of Health limiting the number of students that could be accepted into the pharmacy program, the maximum number of pharmacy students accepted at that time was 128 students per batch or 32 students per study group (this restriction applied to schools that had been accredited A). Because of this regulation, the Annisa Education Foundation collaborated with the Health Office and conducted an internal selection test using an assessment instrument published by the Health Office (SIPENSIMARU). Students who were not selected for the pharmacy program were then accepted into the nursing program. Given the different orientations and competencies of these two fields/programs, YPA then began to pioneer the establishment of Annisa Health Vocational School with 3 programs of expertise in nursing and health analysis, which are separate from Annisa Pharmacy Vocational School. The process of obtaining an operational permit has begun to be prepared at the Bogor Regency Education Office.

In 2011, the Annisa Education Foundation began constructing Campus 2 on an area of 7,156 m².2, dengan proporsi luas tapak 4.095 m2 dan ruang terbuka hijau 3.061 m2This educational complex is designed as an integrated complex, with activities concentrated in Building A and Building B. Each building has four floors, with a total of 48 classrooms, as well as sports facilities, parking areas, a prayer room, administrative offices, and teachers' rooms. Overall, the construction plan for the Annisa Education Complex will be completed by the end of 2012 (see attached floor plan). The total investment made by YPA in Campus 2 is around IDR 8 billion. Along with the construction process of Campus 2, YPA continues to take steps to develop education that are synergistic and integrated with one another. Annisa 2 Information Technology Vocational School was officially opened at the end of 2011 and received an Operational Permit from the Head of the Bogor Regency Education Office Number 421/50 – Disdik, September 12, 2011. Annisa 2 IT Vocational School began accepting new students in the 2012/2013 academic year. Almost simultaneously with the issuance of the Operational Permit for SMK TI Annisa, SMK Kesehatan Annisa 3 also finally obtained an Operational Permit from the Head of the Education Office, No. 421/106 – Disdik, on January 11, 2012.

Based on the experience of the past 5 years, the journey of the Annisa Jaya Foundation in the development of education does not stop here. Considering that the land owned around the Annisa Campus 2 area is still available, in 2021, the Annisa Jaya Foundation plans to build the Annisa Institute of Health and Management. The programs of study being developed are Bachelor of Hospital Administration, Bachelor of Digital Business Management, Bachelor of Management, Diploma III in Midwifery, and D III in Nursing.

In 2023, Annisa Health Institute was approved as a Private Higher Education Institution in LLDIKTI Region 4 with Decree Number 110/E/Q/2023 with 5 (five) study programs, namely Diploma III Nursing Study Program, Diploma III Midwifery Study Program, Bachelor of Hospital Administration Study Program, Bachelor's Degree Program in Management, and Bachelor's Degree Program in Digital Business. All study programs have been accredited as Good and Very Good.
